Volunteers!
If you are interested in volunteering on the day of our competition, thank you so much! Volunteers are very necessary for making this event possible so we would love if you reached out to us. Feel free to contact us at mxrmhs@gmail.com, or in any other way that is convenient for you.

There will be activities for volunteers to help with from 4 - 10 PM on May 24th. You do not need to stay the entire time if you have other plans, but it is highly preferred that you do. Hours will be signed and taken care of, but make sure to let us know when you leave so that we can give you your community service paper.
On May 24th from noon to 2pm in tandem with MXR's Rainbow Six Siege tournament, individuals are invited to participate in MXR's STEMxReality competition. It is centered around the theme of "STEM breaks the boundary of reality".

ESPORTS TOURNAMENT
WHAT IS ESPORTS
AND WHY?
Esports is sports competition centered around competitive gaming dating back to the 1970s, where teams or individuals play against each other in a bracket-style tournament.
We believe that e-sports tournaments have the unexplored potential to inspire aspiring participants to pursue careers in STEM; specifically in computer science and game development. The skills required in esports competitions (teamwork, strategy-setting) are invaluable in future careers. Additionally, tournaments can work to bring communities together by connecting people through a medium that they all know and share a passion for. We hope to create a night of fun competition while also sharing our passion for STEM by using our experience participating in and managing competitions.
